Dr. Viswanathan hails from Chennai, India, where he completed his initial medical training at Madras Medical College. He then advanced his education with postgraduate studies at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. With six years of experience as an internist, Dr. Viswanathan chose to specialize in nephrology, completing a fellowship at Tufts University.
Known for his commitment to evidence-based care, Dr. Viswanathan enriched his nephrology expertise by earning a master’s degree in clinical research. This advanced training equips him to integrate robust research methodologies into clinical practice.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Viswanathan enjoys playing tennis with his three sons and his spouse, Dr. Ramasamy. Together, they travel and hike to explore new destinations.
