About Dr. Michael Katz
Dr. Michael Katz is a board-certified nephrologist originally from Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his nephrology training at the University of Pennsylvania, a highly respected institution in the medical field. After gaining valuable experience as a faculty member at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Katz joined Piedmont Kidney Institute in 1998. He has been an integral member of the Piedmont Hospital family ever since.
Dr. Katz has achieved significant professional milestones throughout his career, including publishing peer-reviewed scientific papers and receiving prestigious teaching and academic awards. He is widely recognized as one of the top doctors in Atlanta, GA, solidifying his standing as a leader in nephrology.
